My running path, dusk, Kodak MC3 multimedia widget

Last run of the month…

<img src=http://www.kataan.org/images/lake2.jpg border=1 align=center>
Usually I’ve been able to catch the last hour of sunlight on my after-work runs. Tonight, the sun dropped below the buildings on the far edge of my path as I started on my run. Since I wouldn’t be able to sneak in a long run, I figured I’d go for a [...]

Major cleanup

Tomorrow is our “Bulky Trash Pick-up” day. I’m hoping to re-claim my garage.
1 IBM PC 330 (Pentium 90) won’t boot past a dead real-time clock
1 AT case/power supply
5 assorted SCSI external cases
1 keyboard with fatal coffee spill
1 keyboard minus the space key
1 box of ISA cards - 8 bit soundblasters, mono graphics cards, etc.
2 Inkjet [...]

It brings up some interesting points that resonate with me as an internet professional and as someone who’s watched the desktop market stagnate amidst a monopoly position.
I did a [...]

Today’s run…

Don’t know how far I went, I was at my parent’s house. I ran for an hour and 10 minutes, so I’m guessing it was around 6-7 miles.
There was a big hill that I remember running in PE class in my youth that was a killer back then. I took it in stride this afternoon, [...]
