Still too cold to run!

It’s still too cold to run! It’s 49 degrees, so I’m staying home, staying inside, watching too much TV, and writing a review of Outlook 2003 for my web site. I’m evaluating Outlook 2003 for a client upgrading their services to Microsoft Small Business Server 2003.
I’ve got a stack of movies to watch this [...]

A Curmudgeon’s guide to Outlook 2003

A client of mine is upgrading their systems to Windows 2003 server and Exchange server 2003, and I have an opportunity to evaluate Outlook 2003 for their use.

too cold to run!

I was ready to go running today, but had a party to go to, housework, and my son to take care of. Dressed in lycra/coolmax tights, a coolmax shirt, a longsleeve cotton shirt on top of it, went out the door, went two steps and turned around.

5×73gb 10,000 RPM hot-swap SCSI drives
Adaptec RAID controller
Windows Small Business Server 2003
SBS 2K3 is nice, 2003 looks like a nice improvement on 2000, sort of how 98 was aesthetically a step up from 95. Exchange [...]

Cheap coffee of the day: November 19, 2003

San Francisco bay coffee company French Roast
I’ve taken on a whole new appreciation for Costco since becoming a parent. Large pallets of diapers, extra large cans of formula, and a single place to buy almost everything in one outing is a godsend when juggling around a business and a child.
I’ve bought cheap coffee at [...]
