new toys!

I got my belated birthday present in the mail today — a Timex 100 lap heart rate monitor. I got a different model originally, but had to return it; the strap didn’t fit well and it didn’t have lap memory. I like being able to track my speed on long runs by the mile/kilometer, make sure I’m running a consistent pace, and not having a lap memory was a bummer.

Now, when I go running, I can make sure my heart doesn’t kersplode.
