Bush in 30 seconds

Moveon.org is a political group started during the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal by Wes Boyd and Joan Blades. I’ve found their interest and their approach appealing.
Moveon.org sponsored a political advertising contest called Bush in 30 seconds that received some really well-done entries. One entry in particular, “In My Country” sent a chill down my spine. The [...]

moving and shaking…

Between working with a couple of clients, taking care of my son, looking for work and keeping a house going, I’ve been drinking way too much coffee, staying up too late, and getting up too early. The getting up early part I can’t fix - that’s my son’s doing. But, the getting to bed [...]

More MyDoom info…

http://www.math.org.il/newworm-digest1.txt has all of the (confirmed) information regarding MyDoom (AKA Winarg, Win.SCO, and other names). A summary is available at http://www.math.org.il/mydoom-facts.txt.
Between the misinformation and the state of anti-virus software/marketing engines, there’s been a lot of noise about this virus. The aforementioned sites do a good job of forensics.
Oh, yeah, doing my part for google [...]

MyDOOM

Lots of misinformation is floating on the net regarding this new worm - I’ve already got 40-50 copies of it stopped by my Procmail Sanitizer script. ETrust EZ Armor came out with a signature update the day of the release, covering my desktops.
What I’ve heard so far:

The Virus opens up 63 threads and tries [...]

Yesterday was a bad day…

I’ve been burning the candle at both ends - taking care of the house, taking care of my son, and tying up some loose ends for a client of mine. I’ve been staying up late, waking up early, eating out of boredom, and been cooped up in the house for the past week or so.
I [...]
