Busy weekend!

I ran my first race this weekend with <lj name=splicer> and wasn’t the last in line, according to the official results! I ran a 9:38 pace, which is a little ahead of my usual pace. Splicer’s a bit faster than me.
We both had a lot of fun, and realized that a 5k was too [...]

My biggest work-related peeve

I HaTE people who can’t give relevant information when reporting a problem. I was reminded today of the Worst Boss Ever™ from a few years back. I [...]

This run was grueling, for some reason - at 3 times during the run I wanted to quit and start walking back. I intentionally took it easy this week, thinking that I wasn’t recovering from my long thursday runs by [...]

Busy, busy…

I’m babysitting a friend’s son monday morning, an interview for a full-time position in the afternoon, then working a full day onsite for my consulting gig… In the meantime, I’m brushing up on network notification systems and learning yet another FTP server for a new client of mine.
Who ever thought unemployment would be so [...]
