Not too bad…
My Windows 2000 desktop system has started feeling slower, lately. I defragged the hard drive, which made a bit of difference. I ran regclean from Microsoft, which usually picks up a few reg entries here and there that are leftover from software I’d installed.
I tried <a href=MaceCraft’s registry cleaner, and it found registry entries from software I’d de-installed in 2000! I ran the auto-run feature, and despite a few problems, everything seems much faster now.
I was also able to sort through my computer’s list of startup files and remove a lot of crap that loads in my system tray at boot. Who needs a tray icon to check for keyboard updates?
