Hey, look at me!

I got Wordpress running. I was able to export my blogger journal into it, was about to re-format my journal for posting and thought why not just jump in with both feet into Wordpress?

So far, there are a couple of annoyances - WP wants img tags to be inside of quotes, and none of my inline images are quoted. I’ll need to go back and change the category of most of my posts anyway, so checking things won’t be a problem.

My webhost is getting increasingly more annoying - I asked them to change ownership of a specific directory for me and they changed my whole account directory ownership, including ALL of my files. Gallery broke, as well as anything else the web server needs to write to. Right now, editing is a bit sluggish, the host is running a load average of 15. Time for a new host, once I can figure out how to export WP entries out of MySQL.

I think this is going to work out well. Bummer, I’ve wanted to get a Blogger T for some time.
