Changing the way I organize myself

More key-drive goodness:

I’m using pstart, a nice program for organizing applications on a key-drive. with pstart, I can drag and drop icons into hierarchical folders, and launch it from my system tray.

Since using a Blackberry, my home copy of Outlook is lying fallow - I don’t have a means to do 3-way sync between two copies of Outlook and my Blackberry. Since I have Mozilla Thunderbird on my key drive, it’s been simple to keep my RSS feeds and email in one place.

I’ve been thinking about switching from Outlook to a key-based PIM like Mozilla Sunbird, and ran into GTDTiddlywiki, a Getting Things Done implementation in a single-file Wiki. I’m thinking that it might be as easy to move my productivity data to it, keep it with me, and save time trying to synchronize data across multiple formats and domains. I’ll keep you posted.
