Flickr versus Gallery?

I’m tempted to move all of my images out of a local Gallery and onto Flickr. Pros, Cons?

I’m a little leery about putting content on a free service, but Flickr seems like it’s here to stay. I don’t think Yahoo would be able to realistically make any service-affecting changes to it and get away with it.
