Is Yahoo! making a comeback?

Yahoo mail has grown on me; despite the ads, the interface is nice and I have a lot of sources that use that email address.

Yahoo! messenger is still my IM of choice.

Yahoo! to go looks like a nice application to distill the best of Yahoo! into a phone interface.

I might set my search default to Yahoo! and see what I think of it. I swore by Yahoo! search back in the pre-google days.

Why do you prefer Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo! Mail? I see no particular good feature in either.

I use Ask! search as my default search. Whenever Ask! fails me I give Yahoo! a try. I like the way Ask! displays searches better than the other search engines…

I don’t use Yahoo! mail any more. I used Y! messenger pretty heavily for a couple of years when I was consulting - it seemed more stable than AIM at the time. I use mostly because most of my friends use it.

Work relies heavily on Skype, which has its own issues, but I like the voice capabilities.

Jabber is a dark horse - like the openness of it. The federation capabilities are nice. My hosting provider even offers jabber servers per domain!
