What $2 buys – a Vesuviana espresso maker!

I picked up at a yard sale – it’s a Vesuviana espresso maker. Makes a HUGE amount of espresso in a short period of time, and since the stand and the carafe are both on the stove, it keeps everything warm. It’s made of SERIOUS aluminum with a pressure relief valve on the top to keep the unit from kersploding. It was grungy, a light scrubbing with SOS pads got it $80 there. I’ll work it over with some aluminum polish next.

Time for ice cream with espresso on top tonight!
