Canon S100 Digital Elph Redux

I bought a Canon S100 Digital Elph on eBay. The S100 was the camera that inspired future generations of compact digital point-and shoot cameras; it got me hooked on digital photography. I was burning a lot of film with my LOMO, and I used the S100 to practice composition. The S100 became my constant companion until losing it on a business trip. I’ve stuck with Canon ever since; to replace the S100 I bought a Canon SD110, SD1000, and now shoot with an Elph 100 HS.

the S100 I bought in 2001 was $499. 12 years later, I picked this one up for $20, with free shipping. At these prices, I might replace the others, too!
