The Pencam SD is the camera that made my pencam fixation really take off. It takes 2 AAA batteries, of which I have many rechargeable sets. It takes an SD card, and every “real” camera I’ve bought has come with a 32MB card that’s useless on a “real” camera, but perfect for a Pencam. The lack of a viewfinder prevents chimping. It comes with a lanyard that’s long enough to go around your neck, a fun silent video mode, and a close focus setting that’s quite useful.
It’s a great, throw in your bag, take on a sailboat, go hiking with camera.
