Posted at 5:41 pm | Filed Under art, film, plastic, vivitar pn2011

I went out shooting with a Vivitar PN2011, a 35mm panoramic plastic camera. This is probably my favorite plastic camera to date, but I don’t know why. I think it’s big enough, the lens is wide enough, it feels sturdy enough and it’s got a lens cover to protect that $1.00 piece of plastic. They’re [...]

My new plastic favorite, the Vivitar IC 100

Posted at 6:50 pm | Filed Under art, film, photography, plastic, Vivitar IC100

The Vivitar IC 100 is rapidly turning into one of my favorite toy cameras. I broke from my usual “100 speed film only rule” and shot this roll on Fuji Superia 400. With the fixed 1/85th second shutter and f/5.6 aperture, I can use all the light sensitivity I can get! Possibly Related Posts: Handlebar [...]

Refreshing

The insides could come from a LOMO Colorsplash or any number of unremarkable cameras. A simple lens, shutter speed and aperture fixed at 1/100th sec and f/5.6, and cheap enough [...]
